An essential event for democracy is happening on Tuesday, June 11. Stono is hosting a policy forum we’re calling “A People Centered Budget.” The forum includes leading academics, advocates, and the Mayor of New Jersey’s largest city, Ras J. Baraka. This distinguished group will discuss the New Jersey State Budget: who wins, who loses, and what would a state budget look like if it were centered on equity and working families.
